Kazi Rafiqul Alam recently visited the historic residence of A. K. Fazlul Huq, the first Prime Minister of undivided Bengal and one of the most influential political leaders in Bengali history.
Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Huq is widely remembered for his lifelong dedication to protecting the rights of farmers and underprivileged communities. His famous slogan, “Land to the Tiller,” became a powerful movement advocating for exploited farmers across Bengal. Known for his powerful speaking skills and visionary leadership, he played a historic role in moving the Lahore Resolution in 1940 and was honored with the title “Sher-e-Bangla,” meaning “Tiger of Bengal.”
Born on October 26, 1873, in Chakhar village of Barisal, Sher-e-Bangla remains one of the greatest sons of the region and a lasting symbol of leadership, courage, and public service.
During the visit, Kazi Rafiqul Alam expressed pride in belonging to the same district that has produced many renowned leaders, philosophers, entrepreneurs, athletes, and visionaries who have represented Bangladesh with distinction on the international stage.

Trust University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mont Royale International Malaysia to jointly develop and deliver transformative educational programs focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Leadership, Aviation and Hospitality, Entrepreneurship and Digital Skills, and Business and Global Trade Practices.
The agreement was signed by Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Member, Board of Trustees of Trust University, and Dr. Sugumaran Chellaya, President of Mont Royale International. The signing ceremony, held in Malaysia, marks a significant milestone in regional academic collaboration aimed at equipping students in Bangladesh with the skills and global exposure necessary for the future workforce.

Job creation pathways, with the aim to link educational achievement directly to employment opportunities in both countries.
